Rackspace, a service provider we rely on to maintain our service, is currently experiencing a network issue. This has led to service disruptions for their client base, namely us. They are actively investigating.
The effects on you, our clients, may include: long loading times, delays in processing commands, and UI unresponsiveness.
While the timing is unfortunate, this is unrelated to yesterday's disruptions. We are actively working with the service provider and will provide updates as soon as they become available to us.
UPDATE 10:42am PT: The dev team has put a workaround in place to minimize impact on our clients. This should provide improvement to affected users within the next few minutes. The team remains on alert.
UPDATE 11:35am PT: At approximately 11:25am PT, a change on the part of Rackspace intended to address their issue attempted to overwrite the workaround our dev team put into place. The workaround was restored at 11:32am PT.
UPDATE 2:00pm PT: Most clients are no longer affected, however a select few clients are still seeing delays. The dev team continues to search for workarounds.
