Hello Denali users,
A network issue has been identified by the Salesforce Technology team that has become aware of intermittent login errors that impacted Salesforce Core Services for a subset of customers in the APAC, EMEA and NA regions. During this issue, end users will have intermittent DNS issues while accessing the service. Their Technology team continues to investigate the issue and work on resolving the issue.
Our team has already made adjustments in our internal infrastructure to bypass this DNS provider. However, the potential impact of this issue does still extend to Denali's Integration Account User not being able to reliably login to update Campaigns.
We are monitoring this situation closely and will update here as more information becomes available. More information is available from Salesforce's status page and you can view affected instances by scrolling to the bottom of Intermittent login errors that impact Salesforce Core Services in the Trailblazer Community.
Update 12:23am Pacific: We have paused the campaigns from auto refreshing, and until Salesforce resolves this issue all campaign refreshes will fail, including manual refreshes. So, please avoid manual refreshes until this is patched.
We are watching this very closely and will restart the campaign auto refresh once the issue is resolved.
Update 12:45am Pacific: In addition to campaign refreshes, we have also identified that campaign creation is also negatively impacted by the current DNS failure. We recommend users avoid trying to create or refresh campaigns until this has been resolved.
Update 1:49am Pacific: While the DialSource team immediately used the workaround steps outlined by Salesforce and has implemented additional measures, both campaign creation and campaign refresh functionalities are still impacted at this time.
Also updated the original post to include a link to affected instances and EMEA region.
Update 5:34am Pacific: Our team has been monitoring the issue. Our most recent review shows that intermitent login issues have subsided and that DNS resolution is stable.
As a result, Automatic Campaign Refreshes have been enabled. Manual refreshes are also working.
